Who did you first cosplay as?
Edward Elric. Yeah, that was my first and only cross-play. That also led to my first glomping.

When and where did you first cosplay?
It was either sophomore or junior year.

When and where was the last time you cosplayed?
Unfortunately, I haven't touched my costumes since August (I was at San Japan, and I was dressed as Momo from peach girl). I probably should have cosplayed on Halloween, but I really liked my steam punk costume.

Yoruichi Shihoin- Bleach
Merle- Escaflowne
Team Rocket Grunt- Pokemon
Momo Adachi- Peach girl

Who is your favourite person to cosplay as?
Possibly the Team Rocket one, because it gets so much attention and it is so recognizable. But the merle one is pretty cool too, I get to bounch around quite a bit in that costume

Who do you REALLY wanna cosplay as?
Rose- Fullmetal Alchemist (yes, everyone hates rose, but the dress she wears at the end of the series is really cool), Kitsurubami from FLCL, Integra Hellsing of Hellsing, Kurai from Angel Sanctuary, Sailor Saturn- Sailor Moon (yes, I do want to cosplay as her.)...the list keeps going

Have you ever walked around in public in your cosplay outfit?
Yep! Why wouldn't I. If I had means to take care of my costumes here at A&M, I would wear the costumes everyday.

Have people in public ever recognized you and asked for photos?
Yes, the edward elric and the team rocket costume. No pictures, but I played along with a kid that asked to battle with me at Jims.

Have you ever made your own cosplay outfit?
Yeah, I made my Momo costume, and I partially made the Merle and Team Rocket outfit

What was your favourite cosplay experience?
Photoshoots in my Yoruichi costume. Hanging out with other Bleach cosplayers was awesome

What is your worst cosplay experience?
I can't think of anything, but my first glomping wasn't pleasant.

What did you think of it then?
It was a rush, and I wanted more.

I still pine for it

Have you ever done a cosplay skit on stage?
no, i want to eventually

no, because i haven't done anything

Do you plan your cosplay outfits waaay before you’re meant to wear them?
of course! but being an engineer means that i have no time to concentrate on the costumes

Have you ever been to a convention and cosplayed?
nope, i don't even know what conventions are! why would you assume that i would know what cosplay is.

Ever have something terrible happen to your outfit?
It isn't terrible, but the dye in my hair rubbed off on my costume.

What is the best thing about cosplay?
When people recognize you and they appreciate what you have done with the costume. Plus I love the fact that I can be someone I am not when cosplaying.

What is the worst thing about cosplay?
all the time and money i have to put into it

Why do you cosplay?
Because somewhere inside I am a creative theatre kid, that needs to break away from the number crunching life that I live.
